Telegram gave you this token when BotFather created your bot. It's how Telegram knows which bot a message belongs to — basically your bot's password.

Here's the whole shape of it.
Your phone is the client — it asks. Your always-on cloud server (where OpenClaw and the AI live) is the server — it answers.
The Telegram Bot API is the shared language they both speak, and the API token is how Telegram knows which bot to hand the message to.
So guard that token like a password: never post it in public, and if it ever leaks, /revoke it with BotFather. 🔐
